Don't you have a sister to take care of that stuff? (I was going to call my parents for their 53rd anniversary a couple of days ago, but Lil' Vulture told me I was late, as I thought it was the 21st of Sep, but apparently it was the 16th.)

i don't even know when my parents' anniversary is.

in related family-celebration etiquette, apparently a few of my family members are annoyed with me because i didn't send thank you cards for my birthday gifts. my birthday was early april, but my mom just told me this a few weeks ago. i called every person who sent me a gift to thank them, isn't that better than a thank you card? almost feel like sending thank you cards out now with a sarcastic message.

my parents have two anniversaries do i don't even bother

My parents had their 40th earlier this year and my brother and I took them to dinner to celebrate. If they make it to 50, maybe we'll throw them a party or something...I dunno

Yeah, it was. The US started off with a 2 point penalty so it started out 0 to -2 and at one point nz was leading 6 to -1 and the US came all the way back to tie at 8 to 8 and then eventually win it today 9 to 8. Pretty amazing, and to top it off this is like the national sport in nz, no one gives a shit here, but over there people were skipping work and whatnot to watch it.
