Did you try contacting the manufacturer? Even if its out of warranty, they might fix/replace it anyway, and if not, they could point you to an authorized repair agent or something.
Fwiw, I've had good luck with getting out of warranty things replaced just by contacting the company.

yea, I have a funny (not funny) raccoon story. They look adorable, but they're fucking vicious, carry rabies and are basically unphased by people at this point.
