I was there for the first half of the pro race. Another BSG missed connection.

all house lights are out except for the 2nd floor hallway light, so luckily they all congregated there. Quite a shock to see 20-30 flies on the light. Quick trip to Tarjay, and fogged the hallway and got most of 'em (yeah, yeah, I know, the ones out now). I also had to purchase fly paper for the first time in my life. It's pretty effective apparently. Had a fly stick to it while I was still unrolling it.

How do I figure out where they're coming from??? :q

My advice is to look for what's drawing them to your house. Dead mouse or something?

yeah, i can't even pin down a FLOOR of origin, let alone a room or object. checked all the usual places (basement, cat box, trashcan, etc.) and nothin'. looks like i'm just gonna have to outlast them.

Now that I think about it, placing flystrips strategically around the house for a day or two might help you figure out what floor/room. I mean, if one snags a lot more than the others, they're probably entering somewhere in that vicinity. I suggest doing this on a day the inlaws are visiting.

My roommate and I found this about 3 years ago. We would take bets on what music they would play in the background.

I'll bite. May I see this video?

It's a Korean gymnast 1st pitch video. Yesterday morning, I downloaded it and re-uploaded it because the original one didn't allow embedding. I then sent it out to a few baseball media sites and then it just started going viral. Just got home and logged on Youtube and saw how many views it has today and wow. Crazy how this internet stuff works...

Here's the video...

Wow that's awesome.

I hope Jurassic got some kind of prize for this.

Friend of mine posted a youtube video that got 2 million views and he made about 500 bucks from google ads.

I was riding the train earlier today, standing next to two small, but tough looking old guys. They're talking about boxing, and I gathered both of them fought in some capacity. Highlights included discussion of what you hear from the crowd when you're fighting, the one guys saying after his guy won a fight the crowd in Panama started to riot and tons of fights broke out, and the riot guy going something like, that's awesome that you were the featherweight champ.

my 60 year old boss was at Morgans Pier Saturday night for the fireworks and ended up sticking around for the DJ set that was going on. so bizarre. he did tell me that is the place to go and then pantomimed out a woman's figure.

I'm not an expert at all--it probably depends at least in part on how much you depend on your car. If your car gets totaled, can you go out and buy another one? Can you manage your day to day living without one? How much is your current vehicle worth?

i definitely require a car to get back and forth from work. i could do public transportation but it'd take me 2 hours to get to and from work. i could probably afford to buy a used car if i did total this one. the car is paid off and worth about ~5k.

Seems to me like it's probably a good idea to keep collision on it for another year or two.

I think full coverage generally means you have collision and liability. At minimum you need to have liability, so if you're dropping anything it would be collision.

one website said add up your year insurance payment. if its more than 10% of the car then you shouldn't have full coverage. i pay like 1k a year in insurance so thats like 20% of the cars value
