No, I heard about it first so I've successfully avoided seeing it. 20-year old ref gives veteran penalty, vet swings at ref, ref pulls a knife and stabs player, GAME APPARENTLY CONTINUES, player dies, crowd storms pitch, beheads ref, crowd removes arms from ref's corpse but it's just not the same.
