I wouldn't want to live in a world in which there were no bananas for scale.

Oh and Leviathan was a good read, although I don't remember what edition I read. Hegel was always a slog for me, though worth the effort.

I'm wearing a pedometer at work. I've covered .257 miles since 2 PM. Lots of water & peeing.

I just started on one of those team walking challenges here, at the behest of a coworker. the first day was pretty fun since I was walking a ton anyway, but tonight I plan on staying in and don't know if these people expect me to do some nonsense walking so I reach my "goal" of 5 miles

I'm just doing it to break up the monotony of refreshing realgm.com for news. I also like the squiggly map you get when you're done too.

Sounds like what Sandusky would do whenever a Toys-R-Us catalog arrived in the mail.

Had a flat tire today. A chance to prove myself... Took me an hour and a stranger's better-than-mine lug wrench to get the job done. Did that while half my co-workers were looking at me out the window. Feeling emasculated.

This dude went to Penn dental. Another thought a group of oysters was called a bushel.

I question your overall smarts if you claim that knowledge of ancient architecture, mollusks, and books falls outside of book smarts. :) That they openly admit to not knowing these things instead of staying quiet -- like a normal person does when they don't know a question at trivia -- tips the scales back in your favor slightly.
