Exit Everyman: How Jersey Democratic Bosses Destroyed Dick Codey and Unleashed Chris Christie

Really nice read from Steve Kornacki who is without peer when it comes to writing about NJ politics despite his MSNBCness.

The same legislator in Tennessee that proposed the 'dont say gay' and 'less money for kids who get Ds' bills is back with another 'dont say gay' bill that this time would mandate that teachers/counselors tell kids who ask that being gay is not natural and also the adult would then need to notify the parents of the child that the child was asking about homosexuality.

the legislation is not clear whether they need to wear a yellow star of any kind.

Menendez is going to get smoked and he deserves every bit of it.

My view is that, generally, people who to travel to other countries for the sole purpose of anonymously banging underage prostitutes are willing to do just about anything they can get away with. Hurry up and resign you disgraceful POS.
I know what you're asking yourself and the answer is yes. I have a nick name for my penis. Its called the Octagon, but I also nick named my testes - my left one is James Westfall and my right one is Doctor Kenneth Noisewater.

I'm not seeing this close up, but it seems the only thing the Dems in NJ have going for them is the House Republican opposition to Sandy relief, and that's not much, because if I were a Republican running for the NJ Leg, I'd just demagogue on how I'd make sure to tell those redneck crackers that the next time a tornado runs through their trailer park, they can go fuck themselves.

I think you follow some of these loons a little too closely. You'd be happier if you didnt hear about every silly bill proposed. Enough crazy bills are actually passed to fill our time. :)

Yes, but I don't check in all that often. If Calvin hadn't posted I wouldn't have known Idaho had a Rep. named Raul Labrador and a Governor Butch Otter.

So wonderful the NJ dems didn't have the foresight to change an open senate seat from governor appointment to special election while they still had total power.
