Is this how your friend earns a living? Like he has a shop and he has to eat and pay rent and shit? Then he gets paid, and you tip him. If cutting hair is a hobby, something he learned to do in the Navy and he's cutting your hair to keep his skills sharp, bring some beer and stuff.

the question is what skills you bring to the table in this friendship? has he used you for anything like moving, IT work, plumbing, auto mechanic...

if not i would probably hook him up with a ten, if you have, i think a six pack or chipotle should be cool.


personally i find it best to seek out a quiver of friends with skills myself. i personally recommend...
