my insane facebook friend thinks now is the right time to get rid of gun free zones around schools so students and teachers can carry.

i called her out on her sad timing. she said she doesnt give a shit whether i think it is the right time or not, she is taking a stand. she is a parent so she gets this.

Yes, it's a great idea for teachers to bring loaded weapons to school. That can't possibly have any unintended consequences.

Who shoots elementary school children? I can't even process that.

NYTimes is reporting multiple deaths in the school shooting; they're still probably the most cautious about reporting this level of bad news.

this took place about 15 minutes from where i'm standing. Pretty sure I went by that school yesterday.
