To follow on to this thought, there are two very recent Times articles which capture my fear of the direction our country has been heading for the last thirty years, when wealth really started being extracted from the middle class to further enrich the top earners. Both are very interesting articles and I recommend them.

I think the fact that JH has stuck around, kept his cool and offered consistently well-thought out (if misguided) thoughts, says a lot of good things about him. I'm grateful he's here.

That last comment was probably uncalled for in reference to jh, but I'm in an extremely doom and gloom mood and I don't see any way a Romney presidency would be a positive for this country.
