Two Irish Catholics are going to yell at each other tonight. Ryan is the more authentic of the two since he drinks, and Biden doesn't.

It's in Danville? Holy crap that's awful.

Most recent Danville "celebrity" was this idiot (Zane) who got voted off of Survivor in the first ep this season:

Romney minimized the harm for Americans left without health insurance.

“We don’t have a setting across this country where if you don’t have insurance, we just say to you, ‘Tough luck, you’re going to die when you have your heart attack,’  ” he said as he offered more hints as to what he would put in place of “Obamacare,” which he has pledged to repeal.

“No, you go to the hospital, you get treated, you get care, and it’s paid for, either by charity, the government or by the hospital. We don’t have people that become ill, who die in their apartment because they don’t have insurance.”

His ability to blend not being particularly smart with insecurity, condescension and lying sets him apart from most.

Which State Distorted Jobless Claims Data?

I don't get how they could even report it. Did they adjust for the state (California?) not reporting, or is it just missing? Because the analysts quoted make it seem like it's just not included.

Is this in response to me pointing out Biden lied about his academic record or pointing out that the new unemployment filings appear to be wrong?

Asshole. No, we have people using the ER for primary care, then not qualifying for Medicaid or other financial assistance, and hospitals struggling to collect. How do I know? Because that's one of the things I do for a living.

So great--people flaunt the system and get treated. Or people who simply can't afford health insurance but aren't poor enough to qualify for assistance get crushed by massive hospital bills after an emergency happens. Yes, that's much better than government-mandated health insurance.
