Joe Biden unzips his face and he's Tom Hanks. Paul Ryan unzips and he's Meg Ryan. "I hoped it would be you," she says, tears in her eyes.

@ChipChantry
In the gym photos, Paul Ryan looks he's auditioning for the Cosby show in the role of "one of Theo's buddies".
you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

He's so hip!!!

I don't think the debate will be a landslide like the last one, but I think Biden will win this. As much as Romney was given a hard time before about being unrelatable and out of touch with common people, I think Ryan is the same way. He also seems to get flustered when people try to get him to elaborate on his policies that he doesn't want to talk about and I think that could happen here. I know you could say similar things about Biden in the past, but he seems to have mellowed out a lot and he did pretty well in the Palin debate and came off as affable and presidential, so I think he'll do the same thing here.

New conspiracy: Obama threw the debate to close the gap in an otherwise uninteresting blowout of an election because he's in cahoots with with the media and wants improve their advertising revenue.

Asshole. No, we have people using the ER for primary care, then not qualifying for Medicaid or other financial assistance, and hospitals struggling to collect. How do I know? Because that's one of the things I do for a living.

So great--people flaunt the system and get treated. Or people who simply can't afford health insurance but aren't poor enough to qualify for assistance get crushed by massive hospital bills after an emergency happens. Yes, that's much better than government-mandated health insurance.

Thank you. The notion that people can just walk into an ER, get treated and not be billed is beyond ludicrous. And, of course, we're not even dealing with the subject of preventative care.
