Went to a Delaware County Dem fundraiser tonight and the important dudes there think that not only is Obama a sure bet to win but now they are pretty sure the Dems can take back the House this election due to Romney's incompetence weighing down the GOP ticket.

Reading pacino's opinions on goldman sachs as if he knows shit about shit with respect to finance is just hilarious and to then pivot to a defense of unions. Too funny.

not get all maudlin on all yall.

Is he trying to please everyone or trying to fool everyone? He's not comfortable in his skin because he's changed his skin to further his career repeatedly. He probably can't even remember who he is anymore. Why pity a compulsive shape-shifter who remakes himself every 10 minutes to gain more and more power?

This isn't some awkward 15 year old. He's no shrinking violet. He's been pushing to be president of the US and most powerful man in the world for well over a decade. He's put families out of work to take their job overseas just to double the millions he was making.

But I do agree that's it's sad that a grown man who has most anything anyone could ever want is willing to lie repeatedly about who he is in order to surpass his daddy's legacy. BTW, is it an extension of Karl Rove that the last few GOP nominee's have had daddy issues?

which part?

And why should I care anyway when this guy doesn't care about anyone who isn't Mormon or making much more than I ever will? I do probably take the sarcasm too far at times, but I'm partly doing it to mockingly mirror the types of attacks Obama has to regularly face from the other side.

But really, I stand by most of what I said in my last post. He's uncomfortable in large part because he knows he's put out about 5 different policy/personality sides of himself and that's got to make it hard to communicate. Yes, he's naturally awkward and that doesn't help, but I have a hard time feeling sorry for a guy who doesn't seem to feel sorry for anyone else. Jokes about the people he laid off and talking with complete derision about people who are hardworking but haven't caught the break he was given by birth ---- these are things that make me lose my pity. I'd feel bad for him dying of cancer or something. But uncomfortable in front of the camera? Fuck him. He should be uncomfortable with the crap that's come out of his mouth..

So, Tomasky kind of a moron. In this column he states the obvious. But I have a feeling if Romney loses, the Republicans will ignore the obvious conclusions, and indeed claim that Romney lost because he wasn't insane enough. A party that is more or less based on wishful thinking rather than a sober analysis of facts seems to me unlikely to make the adjustments that need to be made to win. Also, I'm pretty sure that Rush and Fox News and the rest of them are pretty much in the tank for Obama as well, as they will do much better financially with Obama in the White House.

Obama has made mistakes for sure. But with Romney in office, we'd still be knee deep in both wars and messing things up even more on the economic side.

Indeed, Romney can't wait to go to war with Iran. Based on his foreign policy gaffs so far, and there have been about 7 or 8 of them already and he hasn't even been in office yet, I have a feeling he would be much worse than Obama on the foreign policy front. He's in league with the Project for a New American Century idiots. That's the Bush crew and the only real friends Romney seems to have.

Sigh. It's true: the guy is no George W. Bush. He hasn't even blown three trillion bucks we don't have on a war predicated upon lies and Oedipal motivations.
