the 10 days paid leave/vacation might be close to accurate, though. most people get off another 5-10 days of paid holidays. still near the bottom.

Sheesh. It's not about that. It's about the government requiring any and all businesses to provide paid holidays and/or paid vacation time. The state providing its own workers or a business voluntarily providing that is besides the point and not pertinent to the chart.

With the exception of the few states with a policy, businesses aren't required to give their wage slaves paid vacation.

most of the people i work with are workaholics. they all have great lives that they love. we have over 5 people in our group with 40 years of service or more.

but i do believe in vacations. i get 20+ days off a year and unlimited sick time. i can't complain. at the pizza shop working under the table i even got vacation.
