All of this is well within margin of error, but according to all the stuff on real clear politics, trends in the last few days have been moving (not a lot, just a tiny bit mind you) in a pro-Obama direction. (Yes, I believe the crazy Bloomberg poll that showed Obama with a double digit lead was a huge outlier, but then you see another NBC poll that gives Obama a 2 point lead (and it still blows my mind that a black guy won Jesse Helms's home state in 2008). I can't imagine the Supreme Court decision is reflected in these polls. Maybe it's the continued decline in gas prices. Not that Obama has anything to do with either their rise or fall.

The RCP average has Obama ahead by 3.7, and if Obama gets anything close to that in the National popular vote, I think you'd have to admit that the Republicans really screwed this up big time.
