Agreed. I know plenty of people who only eat at chains because they know what they are getting and are risk-averse about places they don't know. I also know plenty of people who are adventurous with restaurants and almost never eat at chains. There is no age/generation correlation between these groups.

last time my buddy and I went to NYC, to the AMNH/Hayden, we ate ate...Friday's. only because we had our sons with us, and their palletes are quite picky. So I'm sure the "parent" demographic is solidly in the risk-averse group...

So, for some reason I am more interested in the women in their 30-40s here than the broads my age.

good stuff, TV, though I fear the scales may isolate a "grinder"'s traits more than an overarching "gritty" ethos
Yes, but in a double utley you can put your utley on top they other guy's utley, and you're the winner. (Swish)

as a keyboard player in cover bands in the 80's, I freakin loved Journey. Jonathain Cain parts were SOOOOOOO easy to learn, and sounded decent. "Open Arms" gave the most trouble. Might have taken two hours.

so my trash dudes work their butts off. Work the street at an amazing speed. Take whatver I put out- limits be darned. My 64 gal can is always well about the 50lb "limit". They're friendly, too. But they have this annoying habit of spreading the empty cans across the driveway, so when you pull up you have to get out and move them in order to get in. And my street has two traffic lanes with no parking lanes, so it's somewhat precarious. Would I be a jerk if I called and complained, or should I just grin and bear it?
