business people love them b/c they're from out of town and know what they're getting.

I used to go to Applebee's before GOod Dog if Good Dog was too packed and got drunk on their huge beers

Same reason why there's still a Friday's in Times Square.

Still thinking about Applebees in center city--if you were risk averse, and only wanted a hamburger or mozzarella sticks or something else that's unlikely to be outstanding, and unfamiliar with the area, does Applebees make sense?

not to interrupt the t0rrent of fast food rumination (rumination, get it) with something actually random, but this New York Magazine article on The Current State of Life in Silicon Valley may be, word-for-word, the most poorly informed piece of writing on technology culture ever composed.

It includes lines such as this:

Zuckerberg doesn’t code much for Facebook anymore, the same way that Steve Jobs never hand-coded software for the iPhone.

There may be an age/generational component. If you have a smartphone handy and settle for an Applebees burger in center city, I find that inexcusable.

I'm not sure it breaks down by age/generation. I know acquaintances who've opted for Ruby Tuesday and Applebee's over less terrible alternatives. Maybe they're just not the adventurous/interesting type

http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2011/09/15/michaele-salahi-runs-into-open-arms-journey-rocker-husband-wont-stop-believin/

In articles that make you want to kill things, this one ranks pretty high. The amount of Journey song titles relating to this story (Whitehouse party crasher from '08 runs off with Journey guitarist, husband says she was "kidnapped") would make any one stir crazy. Here are just a few!

Journey's rep, Scoop Market confirmed that Michaele had decided to go her "Separate Ways" from her husband

Tareq Salahi believed his wife was still "Faithfully" in their marriage.
