Laban - Philly Inquirer's restaurant critic for 10+ years. Haters probly gon hate but he's the authority on all of our restaurants. Great read every Sunday.

Melograno - Trent Steele's favorite restaurant in Philly as well as Mrs. 2sf's favorite restaurant. Awesome Italian food. Not red gravy stuff (not that there's anything wrong with that)

Serafina - overpriced Italian food place from New York that is now on Rittenhouse Square. Red gravy stuff (and there IS something wrong with it when your entrees are north of 25 bucks) Also famous for having turned Cliff Lee away at the door.

What, high schoolers frequent "restaurants"*? WTF? When I was in HS, they'd get bitch-slapped for being too haute for burger and pizza joints. FFS, nachos, burgers, et al aren't supposed to be served on a gawdam garnished stoneware plate.

* Applebees, TGIF, Bennigan's, etc.

th PJ Wheliahans in Downingtown straight up bought Bennigan's wall decor and hung it up in their restruant. They have sings that say "The Big Irish" and "Mushroom Burger." Since I went to Bennigan's so much I know that they are old Bennigan's signs. Dissapointed in you PJs.

Better than Applebee's though. Aside from my hairsteak I've always thought their food really sucked. Only went there because my family likes it for some reason.
