Main Entry: thoroughly
Part of Speech: adverb
Definition: exhaustively
Synonyms:
all, assiduously, carefully, completely, comprehensively, conscientiously, earnestly, efficiently, exceedingly, exceptionally, extremely, flat out, from A to Z, from top to bottom, fully, hard, highly, hugely, in and out, in detail, inside out, intensely, intensively, meticulously, notably, painstakingly, remarkably, scrupulously, strikingly, sweepingly, through and through, throughout, unremittingly, up and down, very, whole hog, wholly

I would go with assiduously or scrupulously. You don't get to use those words every day.

"Scrupulously" is a good choice.

"Assiduously" sounds like you looked in a thesaurus.

Evidently, the letter carrier has attempted to deliver something to the house that needs a signature twice now. I've been home, but I haven't heard the knock at the door.

That begs the eternal question:

If a mailman knocks in the rural south, does anyone hear it?

Earlier:

Phone call #1: Saw your resume, liked it, would like to set up job interview. How's Monday?

Great. Located in Mt. Laurel, NJ which is a 40-50 minute drive from Delco, PA.

Phone call #2: So we looked at your car [that probably wouldn't sell for $100], it's going to cost $1,100 to fix everything. Probably won't be finished by early afternoon Monday.
