i post my runkeeper runs because i'm better than all of you.

actually, i do it because i like to be publicly embarrassed when i have godawful splits. one of my biggest motivators has always been the threat of public humiliation.

i also use facebook and twitter with the full knowledge that anyone who chooses to be my friend or follow me has the option of BLOCKING THE STUFF THEY DON'T WANT TO SEE

there are two types of people: those who complain about stuff they can easily change and those who do the stuff that others complain about knowing that the ones who complain still have free will

I really wish the students in the 12:20 PM Thursday lab I'm TAing were exchanged for the students in the 6:30 PM Thursday lab. The early crowd was smart and independent. The late crowd looked like a "late crowd," if you get my drift. This could get interesting.

You being a SAMS guy I figured it would be something like that. Yowsa. That seems like a real puzzle palace. I was with a division HQ once and I thought that was bad.

What LG is too modest to tell you is that SAMS guys are the best of the best -- the Army's "Jedi Knights."

The Jedi guys that I met with the 1st AD were good guys too -- they tend to quote Clausewitz a lot though.
