College was infinitely better than high school for me. However, I didn't drink in high school so that could be a possible reason. Also, I went to an all boys high school, so that is definitely the reason.

Don't let him pay you in Chinese monies... 150 RMB is about 18 bucks.

On a completely unrelated note, my girlfriend and I are apparently getting married in Prague before too long. I'm totally ready to give this a go, but I do tend to have lousy judgement. Beez, you wanna perform a ceremony in the Czech Republic?

I went to Blockbuster for the first time in 10 years and they made me fill out a large form and they needed my driver's license and credit card information. Now I remember why most Blockbusters went out of business. Much easier to download the movie via torrent even with the inevitable viruses.

seems to me a confusion of 1st time/best time

coming of age is big for most of us; aging, not so much (though it can be)

High school was not the best time of my life, but college pretty much sucked for me.

Last time I was at Barnes and Nobles they asked for my freaking email address and then gave me a weird look when I was stunned. I wanted to choke a bitch.

Unless they let it appreciate in the near future, then it might be 20 some bucks.

If an MRI would show the same things they look for on a bone scan, they might just do that to kill two birds with one stone, but as I understand it the bone scan can show some things that other scans can't.

Anyway, the oncologist called today and said that they wanted to go ahead and do the bone scan. Apparently this is pretty common for former breast cancer patients because it's not unusual for the cancer to metastasize to the bones.

Good news: bone scan shows no sign of cancer.

Bad news: my wife has arthritis in her lower back and hips. At 33. This may be an unfortunate side effect of her chemotherapy four years ago.
