The Human Centipede's Random Thoughts Threads

Know anything about service management business processes and how to go about documenting them? Apparently this is what I do now.
"I tell all kids not to use that word. If they're 29 and they win the World Series, I think they can say that.
But I definitely would say to all the kids out there, 'Kids, it's a bad word. Don't say it. And I'm dead serious.' "

It's over someone finding a receipt.... a receipt from 1792. I mean, how the hell is that in any way notable?

It's a receipt for an iPod.

I got mine from trans-union and saw one problem. I filed a dispute with trans union, and they now have removed that item from my credit report.

The question is, do I have to go to the other two agencies and check to see if that incorrect thing is on there, too, and then file disputes with them??

You most likely have to contact the other two.

I think I drive right past this place every day. Hancock St., just off of Valley Forge, right?

hancock rd., right off of N. Wales road. Did you hear anything further about this?

Yeah, North Wales Rd. I always get that and Valley Forge Rd. confused (I live in between the two). Yep, I went past there this morning. There was a cop car in the driveway and police tape all around the yard.

I don't have any sources in the PD or anything so I don't really have any more info than this.

Wouldn't it be creepier if Facebook knew they died?

Not as creepy as if he were to friend request said person and was approved.

10th reunions are a good time to see who got fat/bald.

And to awkwardly slink away from conversations with weird ex-girlfriends.

Good call. Turns out I didn't look closely enough- at annualcreditreport.com I can get one free report each year from ALL three credit reporting agencies. So I pulled the other two (equifax and experian) and filed the disputes there too. Hopefully they'll be as easy as trans union. And one of them even had an unknown address for me (in hamburg, pa) so i disputed that too.

All over 59 bucks which was "slammed" onto my house phone bill 5 years ago. The collection agency offered to settle this for 19 bucks, but it's a matter of principle at this point.

Thoughts?

I think that making families pay for the laptops out of pocket feeds into a cycle of poverty for poorer families.

They're allowed to borrow one during the day, so it shouldn't be a big deal

i think i mentioned my tech support side gig on here before. one of my "clients" actually wants to pay me now and kind of won't stop bugging me about it. i have no idea what to charge. basically, i've fixed her wireless network, bricked her incompatible printer, set up her new wireless printer, and set up a new wireless modem/ router.

any thoughts on what i might ask for? she's kind of loaded and wants to pay me hourly.
Fine. You wanna act like you're two? I'll act like I'm one.
