At the end of the event, my boss is in line paying for the parking, and me and a co-worker are standing off to the side. The little old lady in front of my boss couldn't figure out the machine, so he helps her out. While he's assisting, 5 gorgeous models come walking past. When the last one is out of sight, my boss turns back around and missed the whole thing. He thinks I'm lying about the models... :(

You were like 10 minutes away from my apartment, Ed. How long are you in town?

I assumed he was referring to the Bellevue Hyatt, which is located approximately 10 minutes from my apartment in Bellevue, WA. It also happens to be about 10-15 minutes from Microsoft's HQ in Redmond.

downside is that i think our guitar player/singer/talent was pretty down on making any creative progress last year, so i think if anything comes of this we're just gonna be a 3-piece cover band. which is okay. but still.

i can't tell if this is a line from high fidelity or not

we were on the verge of becoming Darroll and the Powes, but for Sunday we will be...Jimmy and the First Timers. i hope we change that name soon.

no Possum Kingdom yet, but i hope that'll be an easy sell because that song is great. also me and the drummer love Spacehog's "In the Meantime" so i think that'll make it in there eventually.

i'm singing Big Me and My Name Is Jonas. rock.
no offense but you are everything that's wrong with America

yea, the Philly one is "Hyatt at the Bellevue". On the first page of this thread I asked about the parking garage next to it (and seke was correct about the two exits...thanks!)

Any finance guys here able to help me with an international bank transfer?

I'm trying to get a payment from someone in Cyprus and they asked for my "international bank details + IBAN + SWIFT". I went to two different branches of my bank, each told me a different story. One gave me the IBAN, the other said it sounded like a scam and told me to abstain.

I did a Google search on the address and the company appears to be legitimate.

No one knew what a SWIFT code was or where to find it. From what I can tell from Googling, the SWIFT and IBAN are the same.

Any ideas?
