If my wife walked ~5 feet closer to me or walked in 30 seconds later just now (where I was sitting in one of my recliners, in my mancave- where she knows she's not supposed to be), she would have probably already filed for divorce. I only had time to cover what was on the armrests and even then I thought she got me. If she would have come around the recliners and saw what was on the floor I was 100% hit. There was nothing I would have been able to do.

Talk about a reality check.

This has me questioning my entire lifestyle.

I'm literally still shaking. All over a god damned Wendy's Frosty that I ate yesterday anyway- my fridge keeps them at the perfect temp. Plus I have a feeling she checks it every now and again to make sure I'm not drinking. I follow a strict 24 hour rule. If it hasn't been eaten in 24 hours it's fair game. Simple as that, toots. We've been together ~10 years and she still bitches about the 24 rule? Kind of like if you hold onto someone elses' lighter for 15 minutes it's yours (the code of the pot smoker- don't hate me hate the game) or if you lend out p0rn you know your not getting it back- I've never given or received borrowed pron back- but frankly if I put one on a DVD player I feel like Fred Flinstone anyway because of what you can find on the web for free and while I haven't experienced blu-ray pron I really don't want to see certain parts of a woman's anatomy any clearer than you can already see them on DVDs and places like redtube.

Ironically enough that's why my wife won't let me drink. I am sort of an alcoholic and when I drink I can't control myself with it. Yet here I am less than 20 feet from our bedroom (it's directly above my mancave) getting down and dirty with it on a Tuesday night because I have nothing better to do. I will always smoke pot and take benzo's (mostly xanax). She's cool with that. She is a smoker, too.

As for the rest of them, let's just say I like to dabble with some on a daily basis- others every once in a while- but when she walked in I just happened to have my bag of stuff that I definitely should not have had along with some things that aren't even on that test as well that I picked up today　sitting directly in front of me on the floor.

I also took Psych 101 and I don't think it has anything to do with any underlying mental issue. I just like to get fucked up. I am OK with admitting I've been an addict for more than half of my life- 17 years- I was doing an 8-ball a day from when I was 16 (obviously that make me 33) until I was 18 or so as I was making $500+ cash a week unloading meat trucks- my dad was the VP of a meat company in Camden- and he got me the job. Developing a coke problem + $500 - $700 in cash a week while working in Camden is not a good mix. Before work I would go right to 24th St in East Camden. They used to have 1/16ths for $55 ($110 for an 8-ball. Man I'll tell you what, though, when I would be high I could outwork 2 guys- ~43,000 lbs in a fucking hour- ~500-600 boxes which means each box weighed 71-85 lbs stacked 5 high, 25 to a pallet. Typically there would be 2 trucks per day. I would get one and these other 2 guys would get the other- but sometimes there would be 3 and I would end up doing 2 trucks @ $100 ea because I was so amped up. The trailers would be 34 or 35 degrees and I would be in there with shorts and a t-shirt on.

I don't know how long you have been following this board, but I blew my back out because a 72 year old lady crossed into oncoming traffic and hit me and my future wife (it was exactly 4 weeks before our wedding day) head on. I've had 6 surgeries- most of which didn't help so I have been diagnosed with failed back syndrome- and am prescribed 5 OC 80's and 3 Roxy 30's a day. The only problem with that is, I run out in 10-12 days because I take so many to get that rush (you do the math of how much oxycodone that is in a day). That's what it is all about for me. That rush. Feeling like a kid on Xmas morning or a boner on a honeymoon. I've recently gone back to bliz because it has been a while since I've done it regularly. I went a little wild this past weekend- went 72 hours straight - until I just hit the wall and slept for 16 hours or so from Sunday to Monday I believe. I took Monday off but I re-upped on everything- and I mean EVERYTHING- today so I should be good to go for a little while.

I just like to be in an altered state as much as possible and I am one way or another on a daily basis. I thought about rehab but you have to want to quit for rehab to work. I don't want to quit anything. It's just who I am and have been for the past 17 years for the most part. Maybe one day. Just not now.

When we were only dating she was cool with it. I mean if she was going to tell me what I could or couldn't do from the beginning I would have shown her the door. She has never tried it, and never will, so she didn't know how bad it is for you to even try and she had NO IDEA how bad I really was with it. That is until we started getting serious and I moved in with her and we opened a joint checking account. The problem was I would go to a bar or just chill with a case or 30 pack of beer with my friends and end up up in cheap hotels with people I didn't even know for days at the time not answering any of her calls and doing so much bliz that by the time I was done, I had wiped out the account.

I literally can not control myself when I drink. I know that, now. She realized this sometime before we got engaged and sort of stopped me after a few drinks. It hasn't been easy- I can tell you that.

Yeah I guess it was. Even though I tried not to come right out and say it, it would have been less confusing if I just came out and said I had a big bag full of drugs on the floor in front of me - a few of which are a definite no-no with the wife- I mean she can live with me buying a few jars of wet to sprinkle on my pot, a few Tuis (Tuinals), and Xanax to help me sleep but she definitely isn't down with coke or an opiate that shall remain unnamed.

I'm pretty sure my next door neighbor just caught me taking a piss from my patio onto my lawn. He was taking their recycling can out. I put my downstairs bathroom out of commission but I could easily have gone up to the upstairs bathroom. I don't know why I chose to piss outside but it made perfect sense at the time.
