It does sound like a dumb assignment. It might be helpful if you were putting together a graduate syllabus. I've got a spectacular History of Political Thought from 1500-1900 80 page bibliography--but it reflected a 40+ year long career.

Pacino, I've heard really good things about Superior Donuts. It's not a musical though. Not sure if that's a prerequisite.
