My parents split up twice but didn't get divorced either time. What I remember the first time is that I thought my dad was with another woman, because he ended up living in her basement (in hindsight, I am 90% sure that he didn't fool around, but in my 12-yo mind, I didn't see much difference). I was really pissed at that. I can't remember how long it lasted or anything from then that would have helped me or not, other than I didn't like having to become friends with the kids in the house in which my dad was living.

The second time I was on my own, out of college, and I was pissed that both my parents couldn't man up and hash out the same problems they've been having for 25 years. And I didn't want to be involved in the drama.

Do from my experience, this kid's parents are being selfish, and he/she is going to bitter from it.

Maybe you can tell that I am not too fond of divorce when it comes to breaking up families.

my parents dealt with the divorce really well. I have a huge family, and my mom was only 22 when they divorced, so I lived with her parents and her 3 sisters and brother, then with my dad's side (he had 3 sisters too). Just the fact that my brother and I didn't know if there was animosity made it fine, they were always fine with each other.

Of course they got remarried to each other a few years later, so who knows

So I drunkenly promised to buy subs for lunch for my dad and brother, but I'm hungry now, and sorta hungover. I want to carpe the moment where eating sounds good. Where are they? What do they want? Let's do this people.

It's going to be surreal when I start posting in the Rave About Your Kids thread in 2014. "I remember when I ignored this thread and here I am posting in it!"

It will be even more fucked up when Winston Justice (now fabulously wealthy) moves into your neighborhood
you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

This one guy I work with, every time I see him he tells me how I look exactly like a guy who used to work here, and how that guy died from a drug overdose. Awesome, thanks.

Cat pee has a very strong odor. You'd know. If it's a male cat that hasn't been neutered, it might be spraying. Good luck with that.

What a friggin bitch of a day this has been. Three and a half hours in the doctor's office, now at work and overcome by the ennui, head hurting because I never did get coffee.
