home because i don't work today. go me. i can never usually post and goof off during the day, so if i'm doing it i'm usually not working

I decided to go outside and then come in and watch cartoons on some channel called Boomerang. it's loads better than cartoon network because it has all the good cartoons

Most Arkansas foods I can take or leave. BBQ is of course awesome, and we have some excellent cue here (one strength of Arkansas is that being between Texas and Memphis we have real variety--whether you like beef or pork, ribs, or brisket, or pulled meat, dry rub or sauce, it's all available)

But catfish, meh, chicken fried steak--um, ok, sure, once in awhile.

However, cheese dip, is awesome. I do like cheese dip.

I love investigating different food cultures around the country.

I never thought that Arkansas would have a definite "food culture" (I guess as a northerner, I lump the whole Arkansas-Oklahoma-Nebraska-Iowa thing in as the same, which is unfair).

Also, I want to drive to Emmitsburg, MD, south of Gettysburg. Best BBQ I've ever eaten.

Catfish with hush puppies is OK once in a great while. How about Fried Okra? How about them Grits? You ever have crawdads -- must have, right? I really enjoy a good chicken fried steak on occasion. What else they got like that?
Teams lie, sometimes for good reasons, sometimes for bad. They do it to get an advantage while they look at the trade market or just because they can

Grits are not common in this part of Arkansas. Okra is widely available, and crawdads are good and everywhere. Frog legs are common, and we have something called a purple hull pea, which is somewhat like a black eyed pea, but not really. There's a purple hull pea festival. Hope claims to be famous for its watermelons.
