10 straight days of rain make for a crappy county fair, not that 10 days of sunshine would have made it much better.

A board with Belle & Sebastian references moves up quite a few levels in quality, IMO. A non-music board, even more.

Well done, sir.

Made like 60 bucks from our yard sale today. More importantly, we got rid of a lot of crap.

We seriously need a yard sale. I say this after re-organizing the boys' clothes for n-th time, moving the too small stuff to the basement and the fall/winter stuff back upstairs.

Somehow, someway, a guy popped his shoulder out of the socket down at the pool. His girlfriend comes up to me asking if I know a doctor in the building.

Are you that insane to think that a doctor is going to pop his shoulder back in for some random guy with all the inherent liability and do it for free?

you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

I just placed an order with an all-night delivery diner place. I have a pork chop and some ham coming. I will also receive corn bread, potato salad, green beans, and something else, as well as a slice of blueberry cheesecake. I can't believe I live in a world where this is going to be delivered to my house somewhere between 2 and 2:30 in the morning. God bless the U.S.A.

I rarely go to bars, but I wanted to catch the UFC tonight, so off I went. I want to ask you veteran bar-hoppers something: is it normal for bars to stop serving water for whatever reason? I asked for a glass of water and the waitress said they stopped serving that at 9 pm when the fight previews came on. Really?

I can't speak for the pro-water front but I can say that I fell over at bar I was at. Mostly because the chair spun when I expected it to stick. I flagged myself and I had to drink water, Probably a good thing.

That was just somebody being an asshole. Nobody stops serving water. Somebody didn't feel like being bothered to get you water.

Yeah, I mean, I paid a $10 cover charge just to get in the freaking place, the least they could have done is fetch a glass of tap water. :|

House got robbed, probably by our landlord, time to find alternate housing.

Great birthday present for me.

That's great! Old neighborhood had an annual yardsale--they did all the advertising, all we had to do was put stuff out on the driveway. It was a great way to get rid of the stuff that was too good to toss, that you just didn't need/want anymore. Made enough to buy all new deck furniture one year, another year, just enough for new deck umbrella. Best part was getting back the closet/garage space all that junk had been taking up!

Jeez, that's awful. Is your landlord really that obviously shady?

bread or roll?

I had mine on an English Muffin, which is my preference. Kaiser roll after that, but then you need to use at least two eggs and lots 'o porkroll and more cheese. On second thought, maybe that's my preference.

I forgot to report a FAIL for me on this. Two slices of hatfield pork rool, two eggs, two slices of provolone, and mayo on a kaiser roll. I think my mistake may be that I just heated up the pork roll in the nuke instead of frying it. I didn't want to dirty an extra pan. Lazy me.
