I've done this, or its equivalent. I hate standing still just waiting. If I walk from block to block, I feel like I'm making progress, even though I know it's really not.

I know I'm not making progress when I do this, but I figure why not get in the slight bit of extra exercise while I'm just waiting anyway.

No, haven't been anywhere they were at. But they likely give out free junk (like beads, t-shirts, hats, or whatever the hell else). And they are likely very hot.

I have lots of beer/liquor t-shirts left over just from working at a bar for a year.

Tell them that you really, I mean really understand modern dance or whatever it is that they do avocationally, you have a puncher's chance of getting your equipment wet.

SchillingFan used a different font color in the political thread over there.

Thread notable because one of the liberal folks there immediately jumped to conclusions on the shooting in NY today, blaming it on an angry white man. By immediately of course I mean four hours after it was reported it was an Asian dude that did it.

What are some good songs about quitting/giving up, stuff like that? I'm making a video and I want to have a relevant song playing in the background. +1 to your e-cred if the song is funny, intentional or not. :|

I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but I love George Jones's "Just One More." It's kind of about not quitting rather than quitting.

I just figured he messed up and meant not give up. I did not figure in the fact that it was Crashburn.

You're probably right. I just love that song. You listen to any country, JH? I'm very much a neophyte, but I bet you'd love it.

My roommate loves country, and he is pretty persistent in preaching the virtues of country to me. Like that they love whiskey and America, pretty consistently.

I will listen to that song you just suggested. The one Crashburn has there makes me want to cry or kill myself, which I guess is par for the course.

Do you have an MP3 of this or a link? I couldn't find it on YouTube besides a bunch of covers.
