Just how many times did you edit this post?

I believe there were just 2 variations. Neither of them being especially pleasing.

the waitress we had this morning was probably about 16 but she was just unbelievable at her job. a complete natural talent. we left her over a 100% tip because of how swimmingly everything went.

Pronouncing Barthcelona in an English sentence is silly, right? Is there some distinction I'm missing?

The Parkway from about Metropark through the next toll plaza amazes me every time I drive it. How can one road be so wide?

Tomorrow is my first day as a long term sub. That means I plan and grade but don't get paid anymore than if I just showed up and babysat for the day. I am actually pretty nervous.

Especially since it can be tantamount to an audition for a full-time position.

No pressure. I'm sure you'll do great.

I feel tardboard for asking this, but is it better to say "two hundred fifty" or "two hundred and fifty"?

It's "two hundred fifty." I think the "and" is saved for decimals, i.e., "two hundred fifty AND seven tenths."

Thanks. Every character counts in a twenty pager. I researched the ever loving shit out of this topic and I'm still gonna have to bulltalk for eight pages or so.

Use the search function and search for all the periods. Just type "." into the search bar once you get there. Then change the size of the periods to 13. It will add a lot to your paper.

Housh, one way to pad a paper is to add quotations. Surely you've got access to ebsco host or something like that. Start searching!

I'm always impressed by a lengthy bibliography!
