What don't you understand? You were speeding, right?

That that would be considered speeding. I understand I broke the law. It's a stupid law.

i lost track, it fluctuated between 55 and 65, with it being 55 at the time. i forgot to slow back down. just seems like we should all be able to be adults and be able to drive 70+ with no cars around on a straight stretch of highway

I think you'd have more of a gripe if you were moving with the flow of traffic. If you're going 19 over when no cars are around, that seems like a pretty good way to earn a ticket. Not that I've never done it as well or anything.

Naw, I've a good sense of humor and can take it as well as anyone. Just that (IIRC) this is the second time you've made such comments that may be construed as derogative by the PC crowd and/or those more sensitive to such things than I (I'm anything but PC/fragile). As an interracial marriage, both me and my wife have encountered the occasional crap, so I've developed a thick skin regarding. My only motive was to sorta hold up a mirror (so to speak) if you weren't aware of how it might have come across. I wasn't personally offended, more of a 'sigh' shake head 'tsk tsk' thing.

PiP is cool, he plays the drums.

Can also play some bass and gee-tar (though I would never call myself a guitarist or bassist). Can't sing worth a crap though.

Don't even know why I've mentioned this. Prolly because I've been messing around with some digital multitrack recording lately, trying to learn some of the stuff I never had to be concerned with back in the day... just hadta sit on ma butt and play and the engineer did the hard stuff (make me sound, uh, "acceptable").

So it's not such a bad thing that you ate your sammich at 11 since you got some Quiznos at the schmoozing thing. All in all a good decision to eat that sammich early. See. That's why you're an above average (or better) professor.

TV, is it possible to get a decent deli sandwich where you live, or is Quizno's the best it gets?

I know in my cross-country travels it gets really bleak in certain areas.

Yeah, Quiznos is about as good as it gets. The only other option really is a po boy, but around here, that usually means something with fried catfish. New Orleans is a different beast altogether.

The best part about coming home for the weekend isn't helping my dad empty the attic so they can move.
