"The House of Lords" is actually a pretty fucking awesome band name.

Given all the time I've spent in my life thinking up band names, I'm kind of ashamed I never got to that one before.

Every time someone says "That would make a good band name," I think it sounds stupid. But I like this one.

I briefly had a goof-metal group in high school called "Santa Christ." This was right around the peak of GWAR.

The ice cream man is driving around my neighborhood. It's 52 degrees and raining...is that really ice cream truck weather?

turning into a nice day in the LV -- just got back from a misty mountain hike, the birds are chirping and the flowers are blooming in the garden.

Houshrock would be a good name for a band.

steagles just bought a digital voice recorder for the purpose of creating a audible dream diary. he plans on turning it into a series of graphic novels.

after my last two dream sequences, the second one last night, and the first about 1 week earlier, i figure it might be a good idea to get the storylines down somewhere.
if you don't know what the wrestlers are trying to do--how certain moves and holds are supposed to work and so forth, then it might just look like too sweaty guys rolling around on a mat.

Oh. I'm replying to a Steagles post. Um. OK.

oh, that's right. i did share the rodney carney one.

that was pretty freaking weird, but they've gotten a lot more coherent since then.

the one from last week was about a weaponized cannabis hormone and a pair of naked 16 year old twins.

this last one was triggered by the FNM talk. guess where that went.

We had a little snow again last night. We never had weather like this until Mick Bayne moved here. What's up with that?

Well done profile of Freeman Dyson in the NYT's, probably the closest we'll get to a biography of him.

We just had a totally insane, apocalyptic thunderstorm, complete with heavy marble-sized hail. But it only lasted about 10 minutes and now there's a little blue sky above.

Yeah, that was weird. There was still blue sky over me, and I could hear it hailing a couple blocks away, then all hell broke loose
