Probably.

I think you did the right thing. You can always go ahead and get a PhD after you get your MPA/MPH if you decide you want to go that route.

Yea, that's my hope. I'll have a much better chance. I was applying to Philosophy PhD programs trying to specialize in philosophy of physics with just a minor in philosophy, so I was fighting an uphill battle from the beginning.

And, I've got to say, it's reassuring to hear you say that.

I can send you one of my old paintings if you want. You'd just have to reimburse me for the shipping. I was trying to get rid of a bunch of the old ones before I moved, but only ended up sending out about a dozen of them. Let me know.

I was using myspace for it. I'll just have to go through and see what I still have.

I'm going to Taco Bell now almost entirely because of the chalupa talk in the 8/26 game thread.

Pro baseball player, Rambo, or Indiana Jones.

Baseball career ended in HS. The collapse of the Soviet Union means the Russians are no longer formidable adversaries and the Islamic fascists fight like cowards. And archaeology isn't, if you can believe it, as action packed as it is depicted in the movies.

Anything else will be a compromise. Sadly, it took me longer to find this out than it should have.

jersey's brother???

It takes cojones to run on the narrow shoulder of the Schuylkill Expressway.

But that doesn't mean drivers want to see them.

An Emerson, N.J., man surprised motorists along a busy stretch of the Schuylkill in Lower Merion, Montgomery County, about 10:30 a.m. yesterday when he ditched his Toyota Camry in the passing lane, stepped out of the car and stripped nude, state police said.

Darian A. Behrang, 28, then took a jog westbound on the Expressway and made it about a mile before state police responded, they said.

Troopers eventually caught up to Behrang and were forced to engage in a short struggle with the naked man, according to a news release.

Cops wouldn't speculate on what prompted the exhibitionist to jog along the busy roadway, but they did say Behrang was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital for "observation and treatment."

He was charged with disorderly conduct, indecent exposure and resisting arrest

I think I'm about to buy my wife a new iPod. The "classic" ones now have capacity for 30,000 songs, which is unfathomable to me. That said, she's getting the Nano... which still holds more songs than my iPhone.

Read quickly, I thought that said "bra" not "brass". You probably wouldn't be happy about doing that, as you'd probably be fired.

The EMS dispatch notes yesterday said the dude was running on top of the concrete median. :!:

I bought Baileys today, and will be having a corned beef sandwich for lunch. I was all set to buy a corned beef brisket and cook it with spices and shit, but the afternoon got away from me rereading that Mets thread.

bought a green Phils hat with a shamrock on it today because a) i didn't have a good Phils hat that fit my massive head anymore, b) i'm an Irish sucker, and c) i'm a tool who wears alternately colored hats displaying my favorite baseball team.

at least i'm from Philadelphia and a Phillies fan.
no offense but you are everything that's wrong with America
