Grote and Mose's Random Thoughts, Live from BSG

Postby CrashburnAlley » Sun Mar 15, 2009 08:31:47

Wow, so this is what gray looks like.

For whatever reason, I could NEVER see gray using this LCD monitor. I just decided to fiddle around with my computer a few minutes ago, and had to unplug the monitor (which has been connected to four different computers at various times). I was never able to see the grayishness in the Firefox browser or the gray around the graphs on FanGraphs for instance, but after plugging my monitor back in, I can see it now. Holy crap.

Gray is awesome?

I'm trying to install a second hard drive... watch me screw everything up.

Edit: z0mg every other post here goes from white to gray. WOW

If I had to explain to someone why I like BSG, it might be the fact that this :ce: is the second most used emoticon on the board, while lol is 8th.

I love it when I wake up real early on days I don't have to work and I have to think for a minute whether or not I have to work or can go back to sleep. That feeling when I realize I don't have to work and can go back to sleep is great.

I am not looking forward to going to work today. The St. Patty's celebration is in full swing in downtown Savannah, and the place I work is right in the thick of it. It'd be fine if we could drink at work, but this is going to be really aggravating.

Housh, were you walking on Locust St today while wearing a green fedora? I remember you saying you look like Norm McDonald and it was either you or him.

So I haven't done any sort of exercise in months (in fact I've been lazier than ever) and I don't eat particularly healthy, but for some reason I've been losing what little fat I had AND am putting on muscle.

could be a tapeworm. i'd want to get in there and have a look around.
if you don't know what the wrestlers are trying to do--how certain moves and holds are supposed to work and so forth, then it might just look like too sweaty guys rolling around on a mat.

Oh. I'm replying to a Steagles post. Um. OK.

I don't think I'd be putting on muscle if that were the case?

cue creepy steagles post?

and i'd think losing the fat would increase the definition in your muscles, but if you're putting it on, good for you.

it's not meant to be funny. i usually only post it after i've deleted a truly creepy message.

so, here's the question, is "cue creepy steagles post" better or worse than an actual creepy steagles post?

there's no contest. all of your posts, whether intentionally creepy, accidentally creepy, self-parodied, or about sports, should be deleted for idiocy. you're not funny, you're not clever, and you're almost always wrong.

another of the flock?

i'm not funny, nor am i clever, but i will take issue with that last one. my instincts are quite good, and i'll sit on your face and feed ya a nice big asheylarry if you need that statement to be quantified.
