It just occurred to me that Please Hammer Don't Hurt Em was my first tape. I remember I got that and the big Lego pirate ship on the same Christmas.

JFTR, my first album (big black plastic 33RPM thingys) was either Simon & Garfunkel's Greatest Hits or The Beatles "Love Songs". Got them both around the same time- can't remember which came first.

I think my first were Slippery When Wet and Licensed to Ill, but I got Raising Hell shortly thereafter.

I don't which were the very first, but among my early albums were Fleetwood Mac Rumors, Beatles Rock and Roll Music, Beatles 1962-1966, Heart Dreamboat Annie.

My first albums was Wacky Winners and Dumb Ditties, two albums of kids songs -- think early to mid 70's here. Those were gifts. My first tape was Fleetwood Mac Rumors. I bought that myself.

the guy i was playing a week ago in ff wrote "please hammer, don't hurt me" in his trash talk. i was clueless, but now i assume it is related to this.
