Having a slice of pecan pie and a Pilsner Urquell as my in between Giants and Georgetown snack. It tastes about as bad together as you would expect. I'm not sure why I didn't wait till after the pie before opening the beer.

It is my first beer had out of my new Phillies World Series pint though, so that's nice.

i don't think smoking weed breaks our lease, but somehow, burning candles or incense does.

I would guess your lease would automatically be invalidated by smoking weed, as I'd guess there's some clause about doing illegal stuff.

In the future, stuff a dryer sheet into an empty toilet paper or paper towel roll and exhale through it. Not only will it not smell like pot, but your room will smell laundry fresh.

My roommate's been preparing a nice hunk of rib roast since Friday. She finally put it in the oven about an hour ago and now our apartment smells like heaven. Seriously... when is someone going to invent the ability to save an aroma as some sort of file that can be distributed over the net to be shared with all?

I saw Cirque Dreams Holidaze today in Atlantic City. It was pretty impressive. It is the same idea as Cirque Du Soliel but not as world renowned. I encourage everyone to check it out.

Anybody ever hire a window washing company for their house? With my knee still gimpy and a houseful coming for christmas, I may be forced to hire somebody instead of my usual take-a-day-off-from-work-and-do-it-myself routine. Is this affordable for us average dudes or is it one of those "if you have to ask, you can't afford it" kind of things?
