However as I've mentioned a few times before, my wife has stomach problems (she has to get botox injections into her stomach muscle so it will open into her small intestine) and I want to be sure there will be something she will be able to eat with no problems. I'm pretty sure she has tried curry but didn't like it.
i'll add navrattan korma, if you're looking for a rich and heavy vegetable dish. it is quite excellent at the place i go to.td11 wrote:Phight On! wrote:TD- I've never had Indian food but desperately want to try it. phight, the restaurant that we went to today is PHENOMENAL. My parents make the 1.5 hour trip with pleasure just to eat there (and bring back food, too). We don't really like going out for Indian food too much other than that because my mom is an amazing cook herself.
I will say you should definitely try Chicken Tikka Masala, Tandoori Chicken, Reshmi Kabab, chicken butter masala. And for your wife, I'll say Saag Paneer (sometimes called Palak Paneer), and Aloo Gobi. Most of the food is generally mild-ish unless you ask 'em to make it spicy specifically.
