What really gets me is when the d-bag coincidentally is hanging out with a different group of friends when it's his turn. If he tries jumping in the car with me at the end of the night, I think I'm going to drop him off a mile or two from his place.

Srsly. Why wouldn't someone want to take a turn as designated driver? There's a greatly diminished chance of this...

It makes me wish I was still in college. Here I am posting drunk on message boards, chugging seltzer to sober up while they're going to another bar.

I wish. Nothing really is open at the shore.

I get spoiled living in a city, where shit is open at 1 AM if I'm hungry.

every day i realize one more thing that will ruin my life after i move back to Philly (next week, btw)

1.) Flyers games/Sixers games/concerts cost more than nights at the bar
2.) It's gonna be tough to bring a lady home to the house my parents sleep in
3.) A Wawa will be in walking distance between the hours of 2 a.m. and 4 a.m.

really, two of three are just curses in disguise, and the other one is pretty unlikely to come into play

Good news...didn't have to DD tonight, but not because of said friend. Had a few G&T's and a few shots of Jameson. Thoughts on that are in the whiskey thread.

It's probably 75 feet from my house and while we don't go there a ton, it's a decent spot to grab something quickly. I think I've had a bagel from there but can't remember it being awful or good. Their food is a little lacking, but they have really good coffee and generally friendly, non-identity stealing service.

Yeah, not too far actually, but driving, not walking distance at that point in the evening, which was a problem. I miss the delivery aspect.

No. It will go straight to your hips.

I was going to have some pie, but before I realized what I was doing, I brushed my teeth. So, I skipped the pie.

After a several month hiatus, I just bottled a batch of homebrew. The green beer was pretty good, so I have some expectations for this batch.

I'm about to watch four straight hours of The Universe on the History Channel. I love that stuff. I should probably put the DVDs on my Christmas list.

so we're not supposed to smoke in our house (roommates' rule, not the landlord's, so it's not a huge deal) but i smoked a blunt in my room when i was bombed last night and now it reeks in here.

the hope is that no one comes into my room today, but my one roommate likes to pop in all the time and she'd be the most likely to freak out if i smoked weed in the house.

I don't think the no smoking thing applies when it's just pot. While a blunt does tend to linger more, the damage comes from smoking cigarettes, regularly, inside.

i'm also thinking it's my bedroom, so it's not bothering anyone else. the smell is definitely lingering right now, though. i'm just gonna leave the house and hope they don't ask questions later.
