We're in a world of trouble in Indiana. Running about 20% behind in every county so far from 2004, and we won it by 20% in 2004.

On the other hand, though McConnell is losing right now, a ton of Jefferson County (Louisville) is in, so I think we're in alright shape there.

CNN calls Kentucky for McCain and Vermont for Obama.

Not surprising but a good sign for Obama that GA cannot be called yet. I remember being a poll observer in GA in 2004 and as soon as we got in the car and turned on the radio they called GA for Bush.

NR makes me laugh:

A Complete, Foolish Waste Of Time [John Hood]

That's the appropriate description of reading any leaked exit polls with anything other than amused detachment. They are a hopeless guide to what will actually occur when states start counting the votes. Early voting, absentees, and a variety of biases render them useless until they are weighted, later on, by actual vote totals.

CNN is making a big deal out some fakeass hologram trick with the reporter. Everyone involved is embarrassed.

NBC is proud of their virtual reality room green screen thing with Ann Curry. Whatever. Just fill in the red and blue please.

It's comforting for me to know I won't get too upset whether the Marxist babykiller or the fascist warmonger wins.

On the other hand, this knuckleheaded library funding referendum will mean I going to be peeved anyway.

Just looking at the counties that are in so far. Most McCain is running more than 10% behind Bush so far, and he won the state by 20%. I mean, not by much and it could go either way, but if I had to bet, I'd bet on Obama.

Mitch Daniels has been reelected governor of Indiana, which is nice.

I think McConnell looks OK in Kentucky, which is nice.

The exit polls in VA are cry worthy.

McCain's current strategy appears to be to avoid embarrassment. I've received 5 robocalls urging me to vote for him in the past two days (one each from Cindy McCain, John himself, Rudy 9/11, Sarah Palin, and some random person). Two of these were in the past 15 minutes telling me that polls are still open. Look at my location--that should tell you something. I've already voted for Obama, by the way.

Out of curiousity, have you supported McCain in his Senate races?
