Trying to head off a potentially embarrassing state ethics report on GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin, campaign officials released their own report Thursday that clears her of any wrongdoing.

I voted on one of those polls. I voted, yes, she is qualified. Because she is. I don't want her to be president, but she is qualified.

If she is because she believes letting McCain become president will destroy all notions of conservative philosophy I'll believe you. I've read more than a few conservatives who either didn't vote in 1976 or voted for Carter because they knew the whole Nixon era had to die. That I get. Otherwise, this sounds like on of those calls into conservative talk shows where they caller claims to have an "Obamakin" bumpersticker, I don't buy it.
