I didn't tell you guys this - not sure if it means anything. When I was at game 2 of the NLDS (WHOO HOOO) I overheard two middle class white-bread types (a man and a woman) talking. Both identified themselves as Democrats, both said they don't want to vote. The one said he wasn't going to vote but his wife is going to make him. I could mostly only hear his part of the conversation - I'm not sure what she was saying or why, only that the two of them had the "I don't want to vote" opinion.

I would have loved to hear the rest of that conversation.

I don't like to regret things, but it would be hard to overstate how terrible a day this has been, and how crappy every interaction we had in Tennessee was. It was a terrible decision to leave Indiana and come down here. That had to be said for the record.
