it really did drag for a while. i don't understand why you'd go so long if it's not your strength, but all in all I guess it was, you know, a speech.

Yeah, that's the thing.

I thought the last five minutes were legitimately excellent. And he even seemed to rouse a room full of people who basically equate self-interest with saintliness to cheer selflessness. Maybe it's because they felt a pulse.
