Am I alone in thinking that people should get over their inboxes?
Some Pitt professor screwed up his instructions such that everyone on the SLIS mailing list got a bunch of "Hi my name is and my email is" letters. Oh noes!! 20 whole extra clicks in my workday!! It's amazing that people 1) are taking the time to complain about this and 2) don't see the irony that their complaints ("Please stop the spam!") are further clogging everyone's inboxes.
My instinct is to send out some non-sequitor-filled e-mail to lighten the mood but I don't think these people think like me.
