The HD channel count can be misleading because it shows all the regional sports networks while, IIRC, you'll only get the ones in your region. Also, you'd only get the premium HDs if you subscribe to that premium package (i.e., HBO). I know that when we moved last november, DirectTV had more HD all the time "channels" -- like SciFi HD, History Channel HD, etc. But Comcast counts their OnDemand stuff as HD channels.

After having Tivo before we moved, and OnDemand now, I would rather have a high capacity HD Tivo than OnDemand. But I think Vox likes OnDemand for the movies.

My cable is going all digital. My Series 2 TiVo is going to not work straight out of the wall anymore. Damn.

Sonic, known for its 168,000 drink combinations and its carside service, will open its first location in Bucks County next week, on Street Road in Bensalem near the Texas Roadhouse.

For years, the fast food chain has tempted Philadelphia fans with TV commercials. But the closest Sonic is in Limerick. The Bensalem Sonic opens Tuesday; a second is planned in Levittown for later this year.

I went to a Sonic while visiting my parents in SC. Except for the cherry limeade, which rocked, I was not impressed.
