I just voted Tim McCarver for the Ford Frick Award. What is wrong with me?

Anybody here familiar with Anita Marks?

She does a show for ESPN radio out of Baltimore. She was apparently a quarterback in a professional women's football league. I didn't know there was such a thing.

Apparently, she's been a regular at my bar for several years, big fan of mine. She was in tonight with a bunch of friends, paid the bill with her credit card, and I finally put it together.

If I remember correctly, I used to do carbombs with her friends every time they came in. We have her show on the TV all the time when we open, just because it was left on an Orioles game when we closed the night before. I'm kind of surprised I never noticed before. She's fairly attractive. You'd never know with the way that TV station comes in at work.

Bought tix at StubHub for yesterday's Yankees/BlueJays game because BF is a longtime Yankee fan and wanted to see the stadium one last time before they close it down. The tix were part of his birthday present, and because 1)yankees home games are always sold out and 2)everyone and their brother wanted to see one last home game befoe the stadium's gone, the stubhub price was many multiple of the actual face price of the tickets. Ouch!
Took the Yankee Clipper to the game, which provided an awesome view of Manhattan from the water--definitely would recommend it!
The Yankee Stadium--provided some great visuals--a classic and memorable stadium, no doubt.
The Yankee's performance--so disappointing. It's one thing to play really well, and lose because you either played a better team, or a good team who had an outstanding day. To be paid professionals, well-paid professionals at that, and lose due to lackluster play--it's so disappointing.
Despite the poor play and the loss, it was a great day for a ball game.

Well, this is weird. Half the power in my house is out. Half the power on my street is out. The power in the basement is on, which is where all of our internet stuff is hooked up, so I can at least dick around on here. But our good living room TV is out, while our old basement one works. So basically tonight I've learned that we need batteries in our flashlight and rediscovered that 27 inch TVs suck.
