Will someone please take away the "h" key from this alliterating fool? Then again, if someone had beforehand, the headline would have read "anna ammers aiti, eads ere".

Sorry for the double post but I don't know how people can think that Freebird isn't good guitar playing. I understand if you don't like Lynyrd Skynyrd (and I don't, for the most part) but there's no question Freebird is an example of guitar perfection. It's got just about everything. :?

I don't care of Freebird features the greatest guitar work in the history of rock. It's still ass.

The great thing about freebird is the rhythm part is really easy, so if there are two guys with guitars and one isn't that good, they can still jam.

First gig of my life- we got called to encore. Problem is, we'd already played all the songs we'd rehearsed. Bass player decides we should do freebird. Guitarist, vocalist, and drummer all also knew it- just me who didn't. So I pop a church organ tone onto my Roland SA-90, and the bass player gets me started on the song, as I have the intro all to myself. On the tape of the show, you can hear him yelling out the chords. "G!" "D" ! "E Minor" "E Minor" !
