Tool was scheduled to play the Garden Pavilion in Hollywood but learned at the last minute that the Garden Pavilion belonged to L. Ron Hubbard's Church of Scientology, which the band felt clashed with "the band's ethics about how a person should not follow a belief system that constricts their development as a human being".[2] Keenan "spent most of the show baa-ing like a sheep at the audience"

lol

Reason 2354 why Tool is one of the best bands of the last 20 years. Not mentioned in the Wiki entry is that the crowd actually kept repeating Maynard which is why he kept baa-ing. The crowd didn't realize that Tool was making fun of them and calling them sheep.

:-D

There is a common misconception that Tool is anti-christianity and against organized religion in general when in fact they embrace spirituality. They just don't believe in blind faith (like scientology or evangelical christians) or needing a middle man (priest, pastor, rabbi, etc...) to have a relationship with their preferred deity (Sorry Beezer).

I hate iTunes for so many reasons. It was 20 bucks well spent to buy a plug-in that would let me sync my iPod with Windows Media Player.

Negative. My bowels have returned to normal. I'm now on the Mrs. Vox therapy of pedialyte, I'm rehydrating, everyone in the office is laughing at me, but I fit right in with my 10 AM meeting, a MOM's club.

THinking about spring training and NFL pre-season camp, I'm thinking John Elway must be the biggest idiot in the world. These guys in spring training are having a ball--basically, they go to Florida, play catch, and "workout" which looks like jogging around the field a little bit. NFL preseason, with two-a-days and full contact drills in the hot summer sun doesn't sound nearly as good.

Overheard a TV ad for some pharm named "Aciphex". I could have sworn they were saying something else...

Don't the folks that get paid the big bux to come up with these names think? Don't they at least "sound it out"? I mean, I guarantee there is no way I'm ever going to ask my doctor for "ass effects".
