Solid list but franchising Brat gives you the best possible QB for next year without precluding the other moves, so

Grote - I'm pro- Bradford if it's Brat vs Sanchize or Daniels or other journeymen.

But tagging Bradford which feels like a no-brainer - let's find out who he is with new coach and better defense and such - problem is that's 20+ mil against this year's cap in just him. Not sure what else it precludes but probably rules out any other extensions like Cox or any new FAs like a G or WR ?

BTW - if we could get Goff -- I'd be out on Bradford and RGIII. But But I don't think there is another QB prospect this year - that we could perhaps draft after Goff, that would make me want to just go with a Chase Daniels or Sanchez.

Then there is RGIII though I can see Dallass going after him actually since he played in Texas, etc...

Those are the choices:

Bradford and a lesser known QB prospect. and a vet backup.
RGIII and Sanchize or Danierls and lesser QB prospect
Daniels/Sanchize fight out and draft a QB prospect.

Move up to get Goff. Never gonna happen. Missing 2ndround pick. Don't own Bradford so can't trade him.

I guess I just don't ever see the point of not having the best QB you can. Unless you're in a total tear down.

And it's a unique situation with a really high pedigree QB with a weird career arc who could potentially be here 10 years. With just one year of commitment.

If you're bullish on Daniel or whoever is at #13 and would nail a free agent signing with the $$ savings then, yeah, I could get behind that. But how often does it work out like that? We would very likely still be looking for our QB a few years from now.

I would also say that with the rash of re-signings, the coaches and organization believe they have a decent amount of talent. I don't think this needs to be a long term rebuild. I believe we have the pieces (draft an OL at 13) to contend in a crappy division. I want the best possible QB and with the options that are out there, it's clearly Bradford.

People like to overthink this shit. We had too much turnover last year so we'll do it again at the most important position because we need to get Daniel. Lol ok
