not really, i don't think i'll ever do any drugs. too indian.
yukc, hate that stuff. I took it once and it make me itch like crazy and then throw up. I think it's an oxycontin derivative (I'm 90% sure, as I had trouble finding out) and I'm allergic to oxycontin.

Propoxyphene (one of the actice ingredients in Darvocet) and oxycodone (Oxycontin) are both opioid analgesics. If you have a true allergy to oxycodone, it's quite possible that you would be allergic to propoxyphene as well (which would explain the symptoms you experienced after taking Darvocet). When I was working in retail pharmacy and a patient said they were allergic to oxycodone, we would enter it into the computer as an opioid allergy and then a warning would come up anytime we attempted to dispense a drug from that class. You should probably be careful when taking any prescription pain medicine as most of them are in this same class.

Where do percocets fall? When I had a kidney stone, they gave me percocets and I didn't have any trouble with them. In fact, they were awesome. The doctor actually told me that he didn't have any problem giving me as many as I need. At the time, the way he said it (almost a wink and a nudge), I thought he was offering to be my dealer or something. Anyway, I didn't ask for more, but I was tempted.

That's strange. The active ingredients in Percocet are acetaminophen and oxycodone. Oxycontin is just oxycodone, but in an extended release form. So, unless your reaction is being caused by inactive ingredients, if you're allergic to Oxycontin, you should almost certainly be allergic to Percocet as well.
Luckily I've never had a kidney stone, but from my understanding they are pretty friggin painful, so the doc was probably justified in offering to write you more scripts.

Well, it's got some definite career tracks--cop, parole officer, corrections. Top grads can get into federal law enforcement, but you don't need a cj degree for fed jobs. FBI prefers accounting majors.
