Just because each league still has its own awards?

I haven't seen the BBWAA (writers assn) complaining about it, which is probably where such a move would have to start. Kind of like throwing away our CDs/DVDs, we know it's going to happen at some point but there's no urgency.

When is poor play rebuilding or tanking? In the case of the Phillies, I see rebuilding. They are bringing in good young talent and they are playing well as they become cornerstones to the future. The Phillies are competing in their games. The Braves, Padres, Brewers... not so sure about them.

When it rains it pours for the Braves as their rookie Hector Olivera was arrested this morning on suspicion of assaulting a woman

Worst jerseys ever? Like, let's take the ugliest Padres jersey and see if we can make it worse. They should go ahead and add those Pill Box hats the Pirates wore in the 70s or 80s.

Well, looks like this year's ASG is in San Diego, so I guess that makes sense.

So the Angels get away with not having a Mother's Day or Father's Day jersey?
