The park's a huge problem for offense.

But they've outscored us at home and on the road, so fuck 'em.

SI has links to videos of every catch ever made on Tal's hill. Here's the first. Only time I've ever heard this broadcaster (and I use the term loosely) get legitimately excited.

I remember Burrell's 1st MLB game he smoked a triple to that hill off Wagner that capped off coming back from 7-0 to win 9-7

yep, i was going to post "without that hill, burrell would have zero major league triples". But then I checked and he ended up with 16 for his career, so I scuttled my comment. :(

I invented a game called "slow-ass baseball players". Everyone takes a turn guessing a player they think hit hardly any triples. The person who gets the guy with the fewest wins the round. Gus Triandos is a good guess. You can play it with stolen bases too.

Is there a minimum plate appearances rule?

It's up to you. I'm not a stickler for rules. I made this up before the Internet. Used my Baseball Encyclopedia. And we kinda self policed. Used guys we knew played a pretty long time.

What makes sense?

Definitely a winner. Zero triples in more than 2000 ABs.

Only 473 ABs. Two triples.

Fat catchers are pretty dominant in this game though.

Random thought - has there ever been a left handed throwing 3B or SS?

Luckily B-R has us covered and then some.
